Our Operation
The Circle S Ranch philosophy has been to breed for structural soundness, functionability and “easy-keeping” cattle that can perform without pampering. We have remained focused on breeding purebred cattle or commercial cattle with powerful Gelbvieh genetics as their foundation. Our offering reflects this philosophy. Circle S cattle are not over-conditioned, but they are in good shape and ready to go out and work.
With the economy in favor of the agricultural industry, it is an especially exciting time to be a purebred cattle producer. We think Gelbvieh cattle are something to be thrilled about, and we look forward to sharing our enthusiasm with you. Join us in our celebration of Gelbvieh genetics every first Saturday of April.

Our Family and Friends
While we have been fortunate to have raised good Gelbvieh and Gelford cattle over the years, the cattle have definitely raised us and our family.
We emphasize that the highest achievement for Circle S Ranch has been earning the business and respect of fellow producers and being blessed by friendships as a result of their involvement in the American Gelbvieh Association and various association activities. As the third generation of Circle S Ranch, we are eager to watch grandchildren Cogan, Whitten, Wripley and Kambrie grow and “go Gelbvieh.” Our ranch is in good hands as we look forward to watching our absolute greatest blessings take over the ranch in the future.
